Recognition for the A-M Farm to Table Program- Anselmo Merna School students have benefited from generous donations of beef and produce raised right here in our school district. Custer County is one of the largest beef producing counties in the United States. Providing locally sourced food is something we are incredibly proud of. For the current school year, Anselmo-Merna Lunch Program has been able to serve corn on the cob provided by Seevers Angus, and now finishing up the 3rd beef. The ground hamburger is used for different dishes, but the kids love the grilled burgers. Thank you to Cliff Table Ag and Wes Wells for each donating a beef. A-M will add another beef to the freezer in January, thank you Blakeman Cattle. We are also thankful for monetary donations that have been used toward beef processing. Thursday night at Basketball - the Farm to Table program will raffle off a Steak Beef Bundle. You don't have to be present to win or purchase a ticket, just contact the school if you would like a ticket or learn more. The proceeds can be used for processing fees or future beef purchase. #CusterCountyBeef #feedthecoyotes
