I am beyond excited for this next journey in life and am pleased to be doing it at A-M, the school in which helped me decide to pursue a degree in education.

My life revolves heavily around family, friends, those I work with, and of course my amazing pets. I am a social person who loves to always make plans and hangout with others. I grew up the youngest in a family of four, which meant I had nieces and nephews pretty early in life. I love being Aunt Mickey to now 7 little ones, and my experiences with them, and the educators I have had throughout my time in education influenced my decision to go into Early Childhood education. I am excited to get to know each and every child’s personality and grow as a person and educator from my time with them in the classroom.

My name is Jaide Ahlstrom and I attended Anselmo-Merna throughout my elementary and high school years. I currently live in Merna with my husband, Grant, and our two-year-old son, Jackson. We love spending time together as a family, whether that is going on drives, baking cookies, playing card games, reading books, or watching movies, especially Cars. As for myself, I love baking, cooking, and gardening. I have always loved the close-knit community that Anselmo-Merna has, and I am excited to be part of it again! Collaborating with and learning from other teachers at Anselmo-Merna is something I am looking forward to. I love children, specifically watching them grow academically and personally. I can't wait to meet my first-grade students and help them grow into good humans!

Update: There will be no JV boys basketball on Friday, January 23rd vs. North Central. We will start girls JV at 4:45pm and varsity will tip off at 6pm.

Coyote fans - the games for tonight with Central Valley have been postponed due to weather and road conditions. We are in communication with Central Valley on a make up date and will share that information as soon as we have it.

Last night we had the privilege of recognizing our NSAA winter officials as part of Winter Officials Appreciation Week. These men and women give their time, knowledge, and passion to ensure our student-athletes can compete safely and fairly. Their dedication often goes unnoticed, but our programs couldn’t run without them.

Thank you to all our officials for everything you do—and for continuing to support high school athletics with integrity and professionalism. We appreciate you!

Attention BB Fans: A few adjustments to the BB games on Thursday and Friday have been made.

-Thursday there will be no JV boys game. Girls will play 3 quarters starting at 4:45pm.
-Friday there will be no JV games at all. Girls varsity will tip at 6pm.
