Locally Raised beef at Anselmo-Merna Public School. The A-M Farm to Table Program was able to purchase Colt Wells's 4-H project. Big shout out to Rodney Lamb and Ag Partners for purchasing Colt Well's steer and allowing A-M Farm to Table to purchase at base price.
Since the Summer of 2024 there has been 7 beef donated by local ranchers and now 3 beef purchased from the Custer Fair that were shown by A-M Students. The A-M Lunch program is able to use the ground beef to serve various dishes to our students. The students love it when grilled hamburgers are on the menu.
Again thank you to our Farmers and Ranchers, and those that have donated beef. Also our monetary donors, those donations go towards beef processing and also the purchasing of a market animal from the Custer County Fair. If you happen to be interested in donating to the A-M Farm to Table program in any way, please contact Chanc McIntosh (A-M Principal), or Rodney Lamb (School Board Member).
