Color Run 2026! The Color Run was made possible by Mrs. McGinn and the Elementary Student Council, Mr. McIntosh, teachers, and the NHS members that offered to toss powder and spray kids with water! A huge thanks to Mr. Gilligan and the Anselmo Fire Department for some special water fun on that day as well as the A-M PTO, who graciously donated t-shirts for all elementary students and staff who helped with the run. The A-M PTO supports our students in various ways through the year, such as taking our elementary to the movies before winter break, and offering extra funding for field trips at the end of the school year. It's a GREAT day to be a Coyote!

Today, we extend our sincere appreciation to Dallas Lewandowski for her dedication and service to Anselmo-Merna School.
Dallas has played an instrumental role in helping shape professional development at A-M, always keeping the focus on growth, collaboration, and continuous improvement. Her steady and consistent presence during times of change has had a positive impact on both our educators and our students.
Much of her work has happened behind the scenes, but its impact has been felt throughout our school. Thank you, Dallas, for helping move us closer to our goal of ensuring all kids learn at high levels. Your commitment to our staff, students, and school community is deeply appreciated.
Happy retirement!

Today, we proudly recognize Mrs. Mikaela Geiser, Speech-Language Pathologist at Anselmo-Merna School, on National Speech-Language Pathologist Appreciation Day!
Mikaela plays an instrumental role in helping our students develop the skills they need to communicate effectively, build confidence, and succeed both inside and outside the classroom. Her work impacts far more than speech. She helps students strengthen language development, literacy skills, social communication, and articulation which helps improve overall academic success.
Speech-Language Pathologists support students by:
Improving speech clarity and communication skills
Supporting reading and language development
Assisting students with social communication and interaction
Helping students build confidence in expressing themselves
Collaborating with teachers and families to support student growth
Providing individualized strategies and interventions that empower students to be their best!
We know strong communication builds strong relationships — and Mikaela helps make that happen every single day.
Thank you, Mikaela, for all that you do for our students and our school community!
We appreciate you!
