Pre K-12 Music

I was born and raised in St. Louis Park, MN, a suburb of Minneapolis. Following high school graduation I earned a bachelor of arts degree from Nebraska Christian College in Norfolk, NE, and later earned my teaching certificate from the University of Nebraska at Kearney.

I lived in southwestern Iowa before moving to Custer County in 2001. Prior to teaching, I worked as a newspaper reporter, photographer and editor, and operated a daycare in my home for seven years.  I am in my 21st year of teaching music at Anselmo-Merna Public Schools, and really enjoy and value our students, their work ethic and pride in our school.
